May 4 Local Elections – who we recommend in Sheffield
Sheffield Left has called for a vote for socialist candidates at May’s local elections in the City. TUSC is standing in 27 wards and the CPB in 1 ward. These are the only socialist candidates standing in Sheffield and a vote for them in these elections is recommended.

Having met at Devonshire Green, thousands of protestors marched to Barker’s Pool to support the various unions currently on strike – and to protest the plans of the Tory government to further curtail the right to strike.

On 16 November 2022 Martin Mayer was expelled from the Labour Party.
Martin had 41 years of continuous Labour Party membership, which included 6 years on the Labour Party NEC as a delegate from UNITE the union. Martin retired from the NEC in 2017.
